Periodontics is where our focus is on the health and wellness of your gums and the supporting structures of the teeth. Regular check-ups and cleaning is the basic preventive step towards gum health and wellness.

At your regular check ups, Dr. Rowan and her staff will examine the oral health status, perform tests to check the depth of pockets between your teeth and gums. We will check if the gum is inflamed or bleeding and show any signs of infection. We will also check if the tooth is loose, and coloration. Following the periodontal exam, Dr. Rowan will determine the course of treatment, discuss treatment options and recommend a course of treatment aimed at restoring the health and wellness of gum, teeth and the oral cavity.
